You have to complete all the exercises on page 14 and 15. 

After that, you have to complete exercises on page 16 and 17. Pay attention! On page 16 there's a Listening exercise, so you have to click on this link to ➡️listen and complete it. 

Now, you have to complete pages 18 and 19. 

Then, page 20 and 21.

Finally, you have to complete all the exercises in the Round-up part (on pages 22 and 23). 

Remember that you can use the dictionary if necessary (➡️Wordreference).
Also, check the videos and PowerPoint presentations I've uploaded on the previous posts in this Blog (to check grammar structures).

Read the title of the unit and look at the following picture. What do you think we're going to talk about in this lesson? 

1. READING.
Read the questions in exercise 1A and answer them. Then, read the text and complete exercises B and C. (Click here to listen while you read ➡️audio). 
Remember that you can always use the dictionary to understand new vocabulary (➡️Wordreference). 

Now, go to page 27 and complete exercises D and E. Read the text again if necessary. 

2. GRAMMAR. 
Now we're going to revise some grammar structures. Do you remember Present Perfect and Past Simple structures? Of course you do! We have studied these topics before. So, we're going to do some revision. Watch the following video about these two verb tenses.

1. VOCABULARY. 
Before doing the exercise, let's revise some concepts. Do you remember what adverbs are? Adverbs describe actions (verbs). Adverbial phrases have the same function; they also describe actions (verbs). 
Click on this link to a web page in which you have to read about Adverbs (➡️Adverbs). 

Now, read the instruction in exercise 1.Vocabulary, and complete the two tasks. Remember that you can always use the dictionary to help you understand new vocabulary (➡️Wordreference). 

2. LISTENING. 
Read the questions in exercise 2A and think about them. Then, complete exercise B (use the dictionary to help you ➡️Wordreference). In these activities you need to listen to a conversation; click on this link for the ➡️audio. 
Finally, complete exercise C. 

3. WRITING. 
Now, you have to complete exercises A, B anc C in the Writing part. You have to read a story and you can also listen to it (➡️story). 

Finally, you have to read the instruction in the WRITING TASK part (exercise D) and the TIP box. Read everything carefully, and write a story between 10-12 lines (and send it to me ✉️).

4. GRAMMAR. Today we're going to learn how to use the Past Progressive. Watch the following video which shows the explanation and some examples. It's very clear! 😉

Now, read the Grammar Box in the book (on page 21) and complete the exercises. Then, complete exercise 4. Practice. 

5. WRITING. Read the instructions in exercise 5. Speaking. Write a short interview about an adventurous experience you had. Use the prompts to help you with the questions. 

Remember that you are going to tell something that happened in the past, so you will need to use PAST SIMPLE and PAST PROGRESSIVE. (Send this short interview via e-mail ✉️)

2. LISTENING. Listen to this ➡️audio and complete exercise 2a and 2b. 

3. Now look at exercise 3.SPEAKING. Read the questions and think about them. Read the examples below. Answer those questions about your friends and send me your answers. 

NOTA: Cuando preguntamos por otra persona debemos tener en cuenta que hay tres posibles preguntas para hacer, que usualmente suelen ser confusas debido a su similitud. Veamos en la siguiente imagen estas preguntas, sus significados en español, y a qué hacen referencia:

4. WRITING. We're going to see how to write a complete description of a person (Student's book, page 15). Read the questions in 4a (Discuss) and think about them. Read (and ➡️listen) the description and complete exercise 4b. 

Read again and complete exercise 4c. 

Now, you have to write your own text describing a person. Please, read the writing task 4d. You have to write a description of a person you have recently met. Read the TIP box to help you.
