Hello students!

I hope you're ok and healthy above everything. Today we start with a new module and with a new stage. I know that you will find Module 6 much more easy than the previous module.

(Tienen que saber que aunque continuemos con el programa y empecemos el módulo 6, cuando retomemos las clases presenciales vamos a tomarnos un buen tiempo para revisar todo lo trabajado.)

In this unit you will learn:
* to describe your abilities (what you can or can't do)
* to use some common expressions when making a phone call
* to make suggestions/invitations and to make arrangements (time and place)
* to describe things that are happening now.
* to use numbers over 100+
* to use vocabulary related to environment

Verb "CAN"

There are some verbs with different structures and different behaviour... that's why we study them separetedly from the rest of the verbs, This is the case of verb "Can". The good thing is that its structure is simpler that the other verbs.

The equivalent verb in Spanish is "poder".

Use of verb "Can"

*We use this verb to tal about abilities... to say what someone/something can do or can't do:

Ican play the piano, but I cant play the guitar.

*To offer or ask for help:

Can I help you with your homework?

Can you help me clean the kitchen?

*To make a request:

Can I go to the bathroom?

Structure:

Homework 1: Complete the workbook exercises on pages 56 and 57.

Homework 2: Send the writing on page 59. You have time until Friday.

Homework 3: What are your abilities? Take a picture or film a short video and show one of your abilities. For example, if you can paint, you can take a picture of one of your paintings and send it tothe whatsapp group saying "Hello, I'm Matias and I can paint. This is one of my paintings". You have time until Friday.

Hello my dear students! 

Welcome to our virtual classroom for these weeks. I hope you enjoy it! 

Les comparto por aqui las actividades programadas para la clase de hoy, me podran enviar por mail los ejercicios indicados y cualquier duda que les surja a traves del grupo de whatsapp. 

En la clase anterior estuvimos trabajando con vocabulario referido a la comida y tambien con un poco de gramatica: a/an, some and any. Continuaremos con la practica y ejercitacion de estos temas. 

➤ In order to remember SOME and ANY uses, let's watch this video! 

➤ Now, please go to page 66 in your Student Book. You have to do exercise 2 READ. 
Read and match the phrases with the dialogues. Then, practice reading the dialogues aloud. 

➤ After doing that, go to page 67 and do exercise 5 LISTEN.

➤ Imagine you are a waitress/waiter, choose three food items and create a dialogue to take a costumer order. Send me the dialogue by email on Wednesday (Imagina que sos un mozo o moza, elegi tres comidas del menu y crea un dialogo en el cual tenes que tomar una orden a un cliente. Utiliza las frases que aparecen en el ejemplo. Me envian el dialogo por email el día Miercoles)
