We are now on class number 10 !

First, open your Student Book on Page 28 !!!

1.GRAMMAR

We have been studying Present Perfect Simple, notice here the difference between for and since. Can you see the difference? I will attach in GC a chart about this if you need it.

There is also another 2 words that is quite important to know how to use them: already and yet.

Finally, this theory chart highlight the difference between have been and gone. If you have read the theory about P.P.S you should understand by now when to use them.

2.PRACTICE

You have to solve this exercise by using the verbs below (some of them are in negative form), also, you should circle the correct choice (already/yet or for/since).

3.LISTENING

Do exercise B with the audio file.

5.WRITING

Look at the E-mail in exercise B. Then answer exercise C.

In exercise D, you should use the phrases on your right to complete the chart.

Don´t do exercise E yet. It will be assigned as homework soon. But it would be great if you read the tips given.

Hi everybody! It´s time for the 9^th Class.

First, open your Student Book on Page 26 !!!

1.READING

First read the vocabulary on exercise A, look  for words unknown for you. Second, read the text on your right and search for any word that you don´t know. Remember to read the comments below.

Then, exercise B is about choosing the right headline for the 1-4 tittle missing in the text.

Exercise C, once more, is based on the text and you only have to choose A-C.

In Exercise D you have to choose the correct meaning. Use a dictionary if you need it.

2.GRAMMAR

Take a look at the theory regarding Present Perfect Simple that we have seen in Level 3. You will need to have a look at that to do it right. Remember to use have/has + past participle.

To distinguish Present Perfect or Past Simple it is going to be important to know the expressions on the note.

3.PRACTICE

Pay attention as you have to use Past Simple or Present Perfect Simple. Once more, read the theory, it will be useful.

First, open your Student Book on Page 24 !!!

1.First match the words on the left with the right ones and then complete the sentences.

2.In exercise B find the words in a dictionary and then in exercise C you have to listen to the audio file and put the sentences in order. Listen several times.

4.Now, read the article “Can I give you a hand?” and do exercise C. Don´t exercise D yet.

Read Point B and then answer exercise C.

On exercise D there are 5 words (1-5) and you have to match them with their meanings (A-E) 

2.VOCABULARY

Search in the dictionary the new adjectives that describe food.

3.GRAMMAR

Be careful with this point as you will have the time clauses to understand the differences between Past Simple and Past Continuous. Read the sentences and match them with their theory.

4.PRACTICE

Using the theory, complete the exercise using Past Simple or Past Continuous.

Read the text about Fandoms and answer the questions.

Now, let´s begin with Unit 2. Open your books on Page 20…

1.LISTENING AND READING

Look at the vocabulary in exercise A where there are some activities. Check them up in the dictionary if you don’t know them.

In exercise B read the dialogue and scan for words you don´t know. And then in exercise C answer the questions.

2.VOCABULARY

This is a new topic, you have to read the examples and the theory attached in Classroom. Then, try to solve the exercises in B.

3.GRAMMAR

This is an important topic so first read the sentences. Try to complete the charts, however, there will be theory attached in Classroom.

4.PRACTICE

Complete with Present Continuous only.
