1. Open your student's books, page 12. Unit 1d "Good role models"

Role model: a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated.
Think about questions of exercise A.


2. Listen and read the text and find out why the two people are good role models.







3. Page 13, do exercise C: Read again and complete with the names Lewis or Angelina

Exercise D: Look at the highlighted words/phrases in the texts and choose the correct meaning.


4. Exercise 2. Confusing words! Circle the correct words.

5. Grammar! Quantifiers: Some, any, no, much, many, a lot of, (a) few, (a) little.

Hello there!
Welcome to lesson #4 - 02/04
This is a revision class, so you can put in practice all we have seen!

1. Open your Workbooks page 5 and do exercise A and B. Vocabulary + past simple


2. Now, let's revise Used to. Complete exercise C, page 6.

*We use used to to talk about routines in the past; things you used to do and you don't do anymore. For example : I used to play volleyball when I was 5. 

Remember:

ˇYou cannot use used to to mention things that happened only once. For example: I used to get married in 1998. ❌ You have to use simple past: I got married in 1998. ✔️
ˇYou cannot use used to to talk about routines in the past. For example: My sister used to get up very early. ❌ You have to use simple present: My sister gets up very early. ✔️
ˇStructures:
(+) I used to run everyday. 
(-) She didn't use to work as a teacher.
(') Did Michael use to study medicine? Yes, he did/ No, he didn't


3. Continue doing exercise D and E, page 6.



4. Let's revise vocabulary likes/dislikes! Page 7, exercise A

5. Finaly, revise prepositions! Page 7 Exercise B

Welcome to the 3rd lesson!!

Hope you're fine!!
1. We're going to continue talking about likes and dislikes. 

Watch the video carefully

2. According to the video: complete a table with different categories (likes, dislikes, low-level likes, etc.). Then, put the phrases in the correct place. 

For example: 
3. Now, choose 4 phrases and write 3 sentences that are true for you and 1 false sentence. Think about this quarantine time, What do you like/dislike?

For example: 
- I really love cooking!
- I don't mind doing the washing-up.
- I have no time to read.
- I really dislike doing word search puzzles.


4. Send a voice-note to the WhatsApp group reading each phrase and the rest must guess which is the false one..

Hello there! Welcome to the 2nd lesson!

1. FIRST, Let's revise past simple and used to. Read

USED TO is used to express something that you did frequently in the past. It sometimes refers to contrast: something you used to do in the past, but don’t do anymore; or something you didn’t use to do in the past, but you do now. 


PAST SIMPLE refers to something you did once at a specific time in the past. Sometimes the time expression is mentioned (yesterday, last week, last night, last year, etc).


2. Complete the sentences

1. I  _____ last night. (drink)
2. Ana Guevara __________in Europe four years ago. (run)
3. I  __________ my homework yesterday. (do)
4. Peter ______________choco milk, but now he drinks micheladas. (drink)
5. He _________________ piano lessons, but now he plays soccer. (study)

4. Page 9, exercise 5 Speaking activity. Write some sentences about it.
Think of people you know well (your parents, granparents, friends, etc)

A. Which means of communication do they usually use to keep in touch with others?
B. Which means of communication did they use to use? Why?

5. Page 10 exercise 1. That's me! Vocabulary. Which of the phrases mean LIKE and which DISLIKE.

6. PREPOSITIONS OF TIME: Read the dialogue and then complete the table.




7. Now, complete exercise 3. page 10

8. Do exercise 4, page 10 INTONATION.

Hi everyone! How's it going? Hope you are doing fine during this quarantine time! Here you have lesson #1. Let's start!

1. First, let's revise! Present simple vs present progressive

6. Now, what's the difference between USED TO and PAST SIMPLE? Read

7. Now, Complete exercise 3, Page 9. GRAMMAR. Then, do exercise 4 A and B.
