2) Continue reading “The Diary of a Young Girl” and answer the question on pages 54 (section Tuesday 15 June 1943 – Tuesday 14 March 1944). Try not to look up words in the dictionary. Do not send me these answers.

3) Check your e-mails for new theory on Defining Relative Clauses. Check the keys after doing the exercises.

1) Check your e-mails for extra practice on vocabulary. Complete the exercises. Use a monolingual dictionary if necessary. 

2) On page 16 of your books complete the active grammar box and exercises 9 and 10.

3) On page 17 read the text and with the help of a dictionary complete exercises 2 and 3.

Answer the questions for exercise 4 and send them to me by e-mail. 

4) On page 18 read the profiles and complete exercise 1 and 4. Send me exercise 4 by e-mail.

1) On page 7 of your activity books complete exercises 6 and 7 (You already have the keys).

2) Check your e-mails for two pdf files with grammar and practice. The file named PRESENT is for revision. The file named PAST SIMPLE AND PRESENT PERFECT is a new topic. Do the activities there. 

3) On pages 14 and 15 of your books do the listening activity (1 and 2) and the reading activity (5). Check your e-mails for the keys. 

4) Continue reading “The Diary of a Young Girl” and answer the question on pages 54 (section Monday, 21 September 1942 – Sunday, 13 June 1943). Try not to look up words in the dictionary. Do not send me these answers.

1)      Go to page 12 and think about the statements on exercise 5. What do you think? Then read the article and answer the questions. 

2)      On page 13 complete the active grammar box and exercise 10.

3)      Write the questions for exercise 11 and send them to a classmate or ask someone in your family. Then, send me this exercise via e-mail. 

4)      Take a look at the cards below and write questions in the present simple and present continuous 

5)      Remember to start reading “The Diary of a Young Girl” and start doing the activities.

    

6)      Activity book page 6: complete exercises 1 and 2.

1) Check your e-mails for studying and audio material.

2) Go to page 10 in your books and do the reading activities, notice that this is an activity to do in pairs so you should also check page 147. Answer the questions. Use a dictionary to look for new vocabulary. 

3) Go to page 11 and do the listening activity. Then complete the vocabulary exercise. 

4) Write a paragraph about a friend or acquaintance using the vocabulary from pages 7 and 11.

5) Start reading “The Diary of a Young Girl” and answer the question on pages 53/54 (first section Sunday 13 June 1942- Friday August 1942). Try not to look up words in the dictionary. Do not send me these answers.

1) Following the theory presented last class, and with the help of a monolingual dictionary complete the activities on page 8 of your books (Exercises 1 and 2)

2) Write sentences of your own with the phrases on exercise 2.

3) On page 9 do exercise 6, and then write echo questions for the sentences on exercise 7.

4) Write a short paragraph about your hobbies and send it to me via e-mail.

5) Write an appropriate question for the following answers using what, where, when, how, who, how often. 

•  I hate vegetables. 
•  I have visited Cuba, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom 
•  Last night, I went to the disco.
•  I go to the cinema twice a week. 
•  After class, I'm going to the cinema. 
•  I do sports three times a week. 
•  Last night, I went to bed at about 11 o´clock. 
•  My favourite actress is Jennifer Aniston.
•  During the week I get up at 6:00
•  The last thing I bought is a t-shirt.

6) Complete the exercises from pages 4 (1 and 2) and 5 (Reading activity) in your activity books. You have the keys for these pages at the end of activity book. 

7) I have sent you all an e-mail with studying material for March 16th and March 18th.
