Long time no see.

I hope all of you are doing fine.

Well, as mentioned in the ZOOM class we are going to start working on the Cultural Project, this time, individually and sending it to me working on a power point presentation, or a word document or recording yourselves and sending the project to me.

Bellow, I send the necessary information concerning the activity:

ANEXO CULTURAL

Módulo curricular: Geografía, Arte y Cultura Británica.

Propuesta de unidad didáctica: Conocimiento del patrimonio histórico y cultural británico. La geografía. 

Objetivo: promover el aprendizaje de la historia así como también el patrimonio cultural de la lengua Inglesa, fomentando tanto el conocimiento histórico cronológico como el reconocimiento de la geografía del Reino Unido. 

La geografía que será parte de esta unidad didáctica es, Cultura Británica:

l Geografia de Inglaterra.

l Geografía de Gales.

l Geografía de Irlanda del Norte.

l Geografía de Escocia.

Metodología:

Cada alumno elegirá un país de los que componen el Reino Unido. Los alumnos deberán realizar tareas de búsqueda de información sobre el país asignado debiendo mencionar los conocimientos básicos teniendo en cuenta las siguientes características: 

A. Geografía Política: mencionar países limítrofes, capital y ciudades importantes, división política, cantidad de habitantes.

B.   Geografía Física: mencionar características relevantes sobre el relieve, clima, ríos más importantes, y accidentes geográficos si los hubiera (golfos, bahías, acantilados, etc.)

C. Principales actividades económicas del país: recursos naturales, agricultura, industria, etc.

D. Expresiones culturales representativas del país: mencionar festividades, referentes artísticos, gastronomía regional, etc.

E. Turismo: mencionar actividades y atracciones turísticas, puntos de referencia, recomendaciones para los turistas que visiten el lugar, etc. 

As I mentioned there is no due date so far, but let’s start working on it.

And another piece of news I have to share is that you are going to do your first online test on Thursday 7^th of May.

To be honest I had no idea on how to start the Unit because it begins stimulating a discussion on what we do to break the routine. I made me feel blue, so let’s get straight to the point:

Hello everyone! How are you?

Hoping that all of you are preserving your sanity.

Well, last class was a ZOOM class. It was amazing.

I liked it and we’ll keep on doing that because it’s the way we can solve doubts and correct homework. Sometimes will work sometimes will not, but we’ll try anyways.
