On Friday we saw "Countries and Nationalities" so now, let's practice at home!
First, open your STUDENT'S BOOK on PAGE 10. We are going to do EXERCISE 1. You have to MATCH (unir) the countries with the nationalities. You can practice spelling (deletreo) with the countries and nationalities.
This is a game to practice more.

On Friday we practice a dialogue with phrases like: "He is brazilian" "I am argentinian" "you are mexican"
This help us to understand VERB TO BE (esto nos ayuda a entender el verbo "to be")
As you can see, the verb "to be" is different with each pronoun.
PAY ATTENTION: The pronoun "it" is used for animals and objects. For example: the chair (it) is red.
El pronombre "it" se usa para hablar de animales y de objetos. Por ejemplo: La silla (o it) es roja.

Complete the sentences using the verb to be (am, is, are)

2) She _______ in Italy.

NEGATIVE FORM
The negative form of the verb to be is very simple. You have to add "not" next to the verb. (Solo tienen que agregar "not" después del verbo)For example:
I am NOT 20. I am 23.
He is NOT Argentinian. He is French.
They are NOT doctors. They are teachers.
With this information. Try to write the sentences from the previous exercise in the negative form. (Ahora con esta información, intenten escribir las oraciones del ejercicio anterior en la forma negativa)
INTERROGATIVE FORM
To make the interrogative form, you have to write FIRST THE VERB TO BE and THEN the subject.
For example:
- Are you mexican?
- Is she intelligent?
- Am I right?
