Today, we're going to start working on UNIT 2!! 🙂
So, open your Student's Book on page 20: Unit 2a - What happened?
1. Let's revise some vocabulary. Look at the words in exercise 1. Listening & Reading. What do they mean? Match the words with the following pictures. (Remember that you can use the dictionary to help you - ➡️Wordreference).
2. READING. Now, read the conversation on the same page and answer the questions in B. (Click here if you want to listen to the conversation ➡️Audio)
3. VOCABULARY. Click on this link to look at a presentation about Adjectives (➡️PowerPoint). After this, read the examples in exercise 2. Vocabulary. Complete exercise B.
4. GRAMMAR. Today we're going to learn how to use the Past Progressive. Watch the following video which shows the explanation and some examples. It's very clear! 😉
Now, read the Grammar Box in the book (on page 21) and complete the exercises. Then, complete exercise 4. Practice.
5. WRITING. Read the instructions in exercise 5. Speaking. Write a short interview about an adventurous experience you had. Use the prompts to help you with the questions.
Remember that you are going to tell something that happened in the past, so you will need to use PAST SIMPLE and PAST PROGRESSIVE. (Send this short interview via e-mail ✉️)
