• Did you know that...
•  some verbs are followed by an -ing form
• Example: "I enjoy reading"
• some verbs are followed by the infinitive:
• Example: "I would like to study French."
• and some verbs may be followed by a gerund or infinitive but with a change in meaning:
• Examples "I tried to cook cheese sauce" (make an attempt)
• "I tried cooking cheese sauce " (do something to see what happens)
