Today's lesson is mainly about IDIOMS and PHRASAL VERBS. 
First of all, let's revise the concept of Idioms. Do you remember what they are? 
Watch the video below to help you remember.

1. Now, open your Student's Book on page 101, and read the sentences in exercise 1a. Which subjects do you associate with these sentences? (Look at the example in sentence 1). 

In each of these sentences there are some phrases in bold, which are idioms. Do you understand what they mean? Read the sentences again and match them with the definitions in exercise 1b. You can use the dictionary to help you ➡️Wordreference.

2. Look at the Lifelong learning box and follow the instructions. Below you can find the texts on page 149 and 150. 

3. PHRASAL VERBS. Now, let's revise some phrasal verbs. Do you remember what they are? Watch the following video to help you.

You have to read the sentences in exercise 4a and identify the phrasal verbs in bold and what they mean. Then, match the sentences with the definitions below. 

Complete exercise 4b and 5. 

4. COMMUNICATION. Now, you are going to work on the following page (102), about Some methods of memorization. Read the instructions carefully, and complete exercises 1 and 2. Try to apply these memorization techniques when learning/studying phrasal verbs or idioms. 

Watch the following video about another useful technique for memorizing.
