2. Page 55, Do exercises 4 and 5 about used to/would .
3. Now, do the listening! :D Exercise 6 and 7 (don't read )
Exercise 1. Educacion: What do the words in bold mean?

Excercise 2: Listening.

Exercise 4: Read and discuss

Exercise 5: Listening
Exercise 6: Grammar. Modals of ability, past and present.
Watch the video! It's a bit long but useful!
So, we can use CAN, COULD and BE ABLE TO in present abilities. But, we use BE ABLE TO if it is after another verb such as WANT, LIKE or a present perfect verb. For example: I like being able to help you every time you need.
When we want to talk about past abilities, we can use COULD or BE ABLE TO. But to do this you have to think about general situations and specific situacions. You can use both in all situations, except in specific affirmative situations in the past, when you have to use BE ABLE TO. For example: I was able to win the competence in April (It occured in a specific situation). You cannot say: I could win the competence in April, as it will have another meaning: future.
Now, if the accion was difficult to do, we can use MANAGE TO in the present or past. For example: I was very difficult but I managed to fix the washing machine.
Now, Let's practice! Page 103, exercise 6.
And complete the Active Grammar in exercise 7.
Okiiii, that's all!! We're meeting in ZOOM at 8pm so as to clarify all doubts! And practice a bit of speaking!
Hope you're all fine!
