Today we will try to finish unit 5. 

Please, open your books on page N°70. Module 5 E.
"That's not funny"

💡Pay a look at vocabulary section.
Remember: Every language has its own idioms and expression and the English language has plenty of phrases that is useful to learn. Idioms are words or phrases that aren’t meant to be taken literally and usually have a cultural meaning behind them.
Some examples are:

• "When pigs fly"
• "Speak of the Devil"
• "A piece of cake"
• "To kill to birds with one stone"
• etc.

Read the sentences and try to guess the meaning of the phrases in bold.

1. Want the ground to swallow up.
2. Can't believe someone's eyes.
3. Go red as a beetroot.
4. Get on my nerves.
5. Make a fool of myself.
6. Drive me up the wall.
7. Nearly jump out my skin.

Read the text; "A day I'll never forget" and answer the questions below.

Do exercise C. 

Join the pair of sentences using only one linking word or phrase below. In some cases more than one word in suitable. 

1. I realised that Melissa was angry so I stopped laughing. / As soon as I realised that Melissa was angry I stopped laughnig.

Here I give you two different options for the same sentence.

Now, think about a funny, embarrasing or annoying experience you have had and write about it.
