💡In our last class we finished Unit 1 and I gave you some homework to do. So, today we are going to check that and make a complete revision from the unit.
En nuestra ultima clase terminamos la unidad 1 y debian realizar deberes. Hoy, checkeareamos eso y realizaremos una revision final de la unidad.

"Round-Up"

VOCABULARY
A. Cross the odd word out. Then add one more.

Aqui tenemos cuatro palabras, en donde tres estan relacionadas y una no tiene nada que ver. Debemos identificar esa que es diferente, la tachamos y en el espacio al final reemplazarla.

1. El diferente es Mexican. ¿Por que? Porque tenemos tres paices (Canada, Ireland, y Spain) Mexican es una nacionalidad. Entonces la tachamos y ocuparemos su lugar con cualquier Pais. Ex. Argentina, Brasil, USA (America), Scotland, etc.
2. Italy
Italy is the different one because it is a country, and the others are nationalities.
Argentinian, Brasilian, Scottish, American, etc.
3. Single
Single is the different because is a marital status. The rest are relationships.
Colleagues.
4. Classmate
Classmate is the different one because it is a relationship and the rest are Jobs.
Doctor, Vet, Actor, ect.
5. Age
Age is the different one because it is not a number.
Five, Seven, ten, etc.

GRAMMAR

Remember: A/An en Ingles es lo mismo que referirnos a Uno / Una. La diferencia es que:

• A = lo usamos cuando la palabra que le sigue comienza con sonido de consonante.
• AN = lo usamos cuando la palabra que le sigue comienza con sonido de vocal.
