2. How did she usually react? She would smile and not say anything.
3. What happened when she got angry? She told him that he looked older and more wrinkly than normal. 
4. What did her husband explain? That in Chile, "gordita" isn't offensive. It's a loving expression and people don't get mad when some notices something about your weight.
