Read the following sentences:

📌 I can't stand trap music. It's not nice at all. (No soporto la música trap. No es linda para nada.)

📌 I find table tennis very boring. (El tenis de mesa me parece muy aburrido.)

📌 She's really into Mexican soup operas. She's watched most of them. (A ella le interesan mucho las novelas Mexicanas. Ha mirado la mayoría de ellas.)

📌 My friend is fond of cooking. He wants to become a chef. (A mi amigo le interesa/le atrae/le gusta mucho cocinar. El quiere ser chef.)

📌 My nephew is a big fan of Independiente. He watches all the matches and he's been to the stadium several times. (Mi sobrino es fanático de Independiente. El mira todos los partidos y ha ido al estadio varias veces.)

📌 I hate Maths. I'm terrible at it. (Odio matemática. Soy terrible en eso.)

📌 Elisa is interested in History. She loves reading books and articles about it. (A Elisa le interesa mucho la historia. Ella ama leer libros y artículos sobre eso.)

☝ Ahora, hay algo que todas estas oraciones tienen en común... Todas hablan sobre gustos, (likes/dislikes), pero con distintas expresiones
¿Cuáles de esas expresiones reflejan un interés positivo y cuáles uno negativo?

Veamos si tus respuestas coinciden con estas:

EXPRESSIONS ABOUT LIKES:
👍 Be a big fan of something or somebody.
      Example: I'm pleased to meet you - I'm a big fan of your work. 

👍 be interested in something or somebody.
      Example: She's really interested in sports. 

👍 be fond of something or somebody. 
      Example: Many people in Britan are fond of gardening.

👍 Find something or somebody (positive adjective)
      Example: I find living in the city very stressful. 

👍 Be into something or somebody.
      Example: She's really into yoga.


EXPRESSIONS ABOUT DISLIKES:
👎 Can't stand something or somebody.
      Example: I can't stand my neighbour. She's always spreading gossip about others.

👎 Find something or somebody (negative adjective).
      Example:  He finds her really attractive.

👎 Hate something or somebody.
      Example:  They hate horror films. 

PRACTICE

✏ Write between 2 and 5 sentences about your likes and dislikes. Choose the expression you want. Send me the sentences via Whatsapp.
