Today, we're going to start working with unit 5.
📚 Please, open your Student's book on page 64. Read the articles and do exercise b. (Respuestas al final de la clase).
Use the Cambridge dictionary if you need.
👻 Have you ever had an embarrasing moment? What happened? How did you react? - ¿Alguna vez han pasado un momento vergonzoso? ¿qué pasó? ¿cómo reaccionaron?

Time to revisit a topic; The Past Simple
Hablar en pasado en Inglés es mucho más fácil que hacerlo en Español.
We have to keep in mind that most details happen in the Affirmative form. Yes, the Affirmative form. - Debemos tener en cuenta que la mayoría de los "detalles" (cuestiones que debemos identificar y diferenciar) suceden en el modo Afirmativo.)
First, remember that in order to study the Affirmative form (just in case you forget) (Affirmative form), (Affirmative form), (Affirmative form), (Affirmative form), (Affirmative form), (Affirmative form), (Affirmative form), we divide the verbs in 2 categories; Regular and Irregular.
📌 The Regular verbs are the ones that take ed at the end. For example: walk - walked, cry - cried, travel - travelled.
📌 The Irregular verbs are the ones that have a special list. These verbs change from infinitive to past. For example: take - took, go - went, buy - bought.
¿Y en qué modo se aplica todo esto?
¿En qué modo diferenciamos los verbos Regulares de los Irregulares?
¿En qué modo me tengo que fijar en la terminación del verbo para saber cómo aplico la ed? (si termina en consonante + y, consonante+vocal+consonante, etc)
¿En qué modo me tengo que aprender el pasado por lo menos de los verbos más usados porque su palabra cambia completamente?

Ready?
There's a reason why I emphasized the affirmative form so much. This distinction between regular and irregular verbs only, ONLY happens in the affirmative form. -Hay una razón por la cual enfaticé tanto el modo afirmativo. Esta distinción entre verbos regulares e irregulares, sólo, SÓLO ocurre en el modo afirmativo.-
In the Negative form, there isn't division between verbs. They are all the same. And they are all the same because we do not need to put them in their past form. -En el modo Negativo, no hay división entre los verbos. Todos son iguales. Y son iguales porque no necesitamos ponerlos en pasado.-

In the Negative form, what we NEED to use is didn't.
En el modo negativo, lo que sí necesitamos usar es didn't.
Didin't is the combination of the auxiliar DID and the word NOT.
En presencia del auxiliar DID, el verbo NO CAMBIA A PASADO.
I didn't cook yesterday. (NO decimos: I didn't cooked yesterday)
I didn't do my homework. (Es incorrecto decir: I didn't did my homework.)
Let's practise
Write the sentences in the negative form. (Whastapp me the answers)

Finally, we're gonna work with your Workbook. So, please, open it on page 46 and do exercises A and B. - Las respuestas a estos ejercicios están al final de la clase.-
