Hello there! Hope you're fine 😀
Below you'll find some activities you can do at home.
We're going to continue working on Unit 7 as we did last class.
1. Think about a good (or bad) learning experience you've had. Use the prompts in exercise 5 (Student's Book, page 93) to make questions. After that, answer your questions.
2. Then, you have to read the text "Mistakes that work..." on the same page in the book, and identify the main idea. After reading, you have to complete exercises 7 and 8 (on the same page).
3. After reading the article, read the questions on the following page (94) in exercise 10, and think about them. Answer those questions.
4. Now, we are going to work on the grammar topic in unit 7.1, Object and Subject Questions. In order to do that, you have to click on the following link which will take you to a PowerPoint presentation that shows all the necessary information about this topic.
5. So as to reinforce the theory on the PowerPoint, you can also watch this video. If necessary, you can also read the rules in the Reference part (Student's Book, page 103).
6. After reading rules and explanations, you can work on exercise 11, on page 94. Then, you'll be able to work on exercise 12 on that same page. In this exercise, you have to write questions for the statements that appear in both quizzes (A and B). After that, you have to identify which questions are Object Questions (OQ) and which are Subject Questions (SQ). Finally, you can take both quizzes to test your general knowledge (the answers to both quizzes are on pages 149 and 152, respectively).
7. To finish with this lesson, follow the following link and you'll find a grammar exercise to practice Subject and Object questions.
By doing all the activities above, we're covering the topics planned for today's class ☺️
