HELLO STUDENTS!
Warm-up: Going back to the conversation you read last class on page 62 of the book, I will ask you this time to underline all the words and expressions related to "Medical problems" .
Look up in the dictionary those words which are new to you.
Exercise 1: to expand our vocabulary about medicine you will complete the following activity by looking at the pictures and matching them with the names.
Activity 2: Speaking: 💬 Have you ever had a medical problem? Tell me about it by sending me a voice message (use the new vocabulary whenever possible).
💬 Have you ever been in an emergency situation and needed help? tell me what happened.
💬 if you were in an emergency situation, how would you ask for help?
Activity 3: Reading time. Read the text on page 64 of the Student´s book about "Sending out an SOS".
Then, answer the questions in exercise C, choosing a, b or c.
💬 Did you know about the origin of the SOS signal? Do you use this signal in emergency situations?
Activity 3: Let´s analyse now two sentences that I have taken from the texts on pages 62 and 64.
⇲ So, Ms Smith what seems to be the problem?
⇲ Sailors started using Morse code to send messages.
In the first example, the verb is in the infinitive form and in the second example the verb is a geround. Why? Read carefully the explanation about the uses of verbs in Infinitve or Geround forms.

After having learnt about the uses of Gerounds and Infinitives, let´s do some practice!
