Today we're going to continue working on Unit 1.
1. First, open your Student's Book on page 10. In exercise 1.VOCABULARY, we're going to revise some phrases describing Likes and Dislikes. Read the sentences. Which phrases in bold mean like and which dislike? Categorize the phrases in the chart below. Remember that you can use the dictionary (➡️ Wordreference).
2. Now let's work on GRAMMAR. You have to click on the link here ➡️PowerPoint
Look at the presentation and read the uses of Prepositions of Time. After this, read the sentences in the Grammar box (page 10) and complete the table. Also, complete the sentences in exercise 3.Practice (on the same page).
3. Now, with the phrases in exercise 1, the prepositions in exercise 2, and the ideas in exercise 5: write some sentences about the things you like and dislike. (You have to send me those sentences)
4. LISTENING. On page 11 there's an exercise in which you have to listen to this audio ➡️Listen.
5. WRITING. Now, we're going to do some writing exercises. First, you have to read the blog entry in exercise 7A (page 11) and answer the questions below. After doing that, you have to do exercise B, in which you will have to write a short text presenting yourself. Read the instructions carefully, and also the TIP box. Write the short text including all the necessary information, and send it to me via email.
Pay attention to the uses of Verb Tenses, connectors and prepositions.
