1. Open your books! Page 70 Fast Food! Vocabulary: Listen and repeat!

2. Now, write the word with the correct phoneme:

3. Exercise B, page 70. Listen and repeat. 

Vocabulary:

'money /'mʌnɪ/ = dinero
'pounds  /ɑʊ/ = libras
'pence /e/ peniques (Plural)      El singular es penny = penique
'euros /juː/ (a este sonido no lo vimos pero se pronuncia igual que "you") = euros
'dollars /ɒ/ = dolares 
'cents /e/ = centavos

*You can say "pesos/ cents" to refer to Argentinian money.

**Para decir cuanto cuesta algo primero decimos el numero redondo y agregamos el tipo de moneda, por ejemplo "five dollars", luego agregamos "and" y la cantidad de centavos o peniques segun corresponda. Por ejemplo:

$5.15 = five dollars and fifteen cents

£3.13 = Three pounds and thirteen pence

£9.01 = Nine pounds and one penny

€37.20 = Thirty-seven euros and twenty cents.

Now, say how much the food above costs in your country. (Luego, dice cuanto cuesta la comida de arriba en tu país)

6. Exercise 3. Page 71. Pronunciation.

a. Listen and repeat.           

They are two different sounds: burger /g/ and orange /dʒ/. 

Can you notice the difference?

/g/ = It is the same as ours. As "cat" in Spanish.

/dʒ/ = I call this sound "George" Can you say George?

b. Listen and tick the sound you hear.

7. Exercise 4, page 71. Listen and write the prices. (Escribe los precios)
