Elementary Conversation - Concarán

Hope you're all very well, having some fun at home! 🙈


In this lesson, we're looking at how to ask people to repeat things. This is VERY important when you're having a conversation in English.

So, let's get started!

EXERCISE 1: VIDEO ACTIVITY

1) Paul wants to hire (=alquilar) a car. He goes to a car hire office.
Watch the video and try to write down all the personal information questions you hear. The first one's there for you!

   1- What's your surname, please              ?
   2- ______________________________?
   3- ______________________________?
   4- ______________________________?
   5- ______________________________?
   6- ______________________________?
   7- ______________________________?
   8- ______________________________?


(ANSWERS: 1 - What`s your surname, please? / 2 - What's your first name? / 3 - And what's your nationality? / 4 - What's your address? / 5 - And what's your postcode? / 6 - What's your mobile number? / 7 - And what's your home number? / 8 - What's your email address?)



2) Watch Paul's conversation and complete the following form (=formulario):

Watch the video again and complete the following sentences from the conversation in the car hire office. Fill in the gaps (=completar los espacios) with these words.

Student A: CUSTOMER (=cliente)
You want to hire a car. Phone Student B, who works at a car hire office, and answer their questions.
