HELLO AND WELCOME CONVERSATION STUDENTS!
Due to recent circumstances that we are all aware of, I will be communicating with you via this link so that you will have a way to practice your spoken English. I´ll be giving you a few exercises that you can practice at home and be ready to talk about in class.
First, I would like each of you to look at the photocopy that I gave you on the first day of class and practice talking about each item. That is what I had planned for the second class.
Next, I want you to look at the following map and practice asking for and giving directions out loud (en voz alta).
Do you remember how to ask for and give directions? Here are some examples:

PRACTICE ASKING FOR DIRECTIONS AND GIVING THEM. FOR EXAMPLE:
The man is standing at the zoo.
A. "Excuse me. I¨m lost could you tell me how to get to the hotel?"
B. "Of course! Go straight up East Street and turn left on South Street.. When you get to the bookstore, turn right on West Street. There is a bank on the left and the hotel is next to the hotel."
A. "Ok. Thank you so much!"
B. " You´re welcome. Have a nice day!"
Ok, practice this and we will do it again in class with maps.
