Let’s start today’s class by answering a simple question:

² What would you say to your teacher if you could see her today?

Module 5b - When in danger...

First, by reading this tittle what do you think this lesson will be about? Any ideas ... ?

What do you think SOS stands for?

- Read the text to find out.

- Work on vocabulary on the text.

- Do the exercise C on the same page. Afterwards do the exercise D on the page that follows.

Second, let’s work on vocabulary.

- Prepositional phrases. Do the exercise 2 and afterwards write me a sentence using the prepositional phrases with “in” used before.

NOTE: In the beginning/end are used as adverbs, while the phrase at the beginning/end + of id followed by a noun.

Example: I didn’t want to stay home in the beginning, but now I don’t even look through the window.

At the beginning of the classes we were foolish not to think of the future.

Third, read about the -ing form on page 131 of your book.

- Do the exercise 4 that correspond as a practice.
