All right, I want you to think of the following...
👉 Give me between 3 and 5 suitable questions for these answers:
a. twice a week
b. No, I don't.
For example:
a. How many times do you go for a walk? (twice a week)
b. Do you do yoga? (no, I don't)
👀 Which of the answers needs a Wh- question word?
👀 Which is considered to be a short answer?
We will focus on Auxiliary verbs; do, be & have.
Auxiliary verbs are used as helping verbs, for instance in the present perfect, past perfect and, continuous tenses; in the passive form and for questions, negatives and question tags)
Examples:
1. I haven't seen that movie yet.
2. You didn't take the driving exam.
3. Marc is running in the park right now.
👉 Take a look at page 19 of your Student's book. - Auxiliary verbs -
Now, please do exercise 5a, 5b and 6 on page 9 of your Student's book.
