🍉When writing a story we should pay attention to some important adverbs:
🍓Suddenly: De repente
🍒Luckily: Afortunadamente / por suerte
🍎Unfortunately: Desafortunadamente

Examples:
I was watching TV, when SUDDENLY the lights went out.
LUCKILY I had an emergency light.
But UNFORTUNATELY I didn't plug it in.

When we are talking about possession, relationships, illnesses and characteristics of people or things we can use either have or have got. The have got forms are more common in an informal style. Have got has the same meaning as have and both are used as present tenses.

Hello students!  Today we are going to work on Unit 6e and deal with writing of a Film Review. 
So, open your students´books on page 84. 


💬  What can you see at the bottom of the page? Posters of different films, right?  
💬  Which kinds of films are they?  Let´s see the TYPES of FILMS we can find

Activity 1VOCABULARY ⇒Look at the pictures and match them with the names.
 💬 Which is your favourite type of film?


Now, let´s concentrate on the films shown on page 84. 

💬Have you watched them? Did you like them?

Activity 2:  LISTENING ⇒We are going to listen to a film critic talking about these films. Listen and answer the questions in exercise 3B.

💬 When you want to watch a special film, do you read film reviews written by some critics previously? Are you influenced by them?

Activity 3: WRITING ⇒  Now that you know the format of a Film Review, you will think of a film that you like a lot and imagine that you are a Film Critic. You will write a Film Review. Below there is a chart that will help you get started! There are interesting phrases that can be very useful when you write.

Hello students!  Today we are going to work on Unit 5e and deal with story telling.
Open your students´ book on page 72. 


➤In exercise 1, you can see a set of pictures which are the sequences of a short story. 

💬 Can you guess what happened?  Now read the sentences on your left, to understand the story. 

The word Burglary is a noun and it means:  the crime of breaking into and entering the house, office, etc., of another to steal
The person that commits a burglary is called Burglar  /ˈbɜːrglər/

In exercise 2, we have another story.   

💬 Can you guess what´s wrong with the man in the picture?  Read the story carefully. 

Activity 1:  Once you finish reading, put the pictures in order. Write 1-5. 
When we read stories like these ones, you can see that there is a layout that is followed ↠


And that some connectors are necessary for the coherence of the story 

Now that you know the format of a short story, it´s time for writing!
Activity 2: WRITING  ⇒  Below, there is a chart with examples of possible Characters, Settings and Problems. You are going to choose the options the you like the most and write a spooky (scary) short story in about 15 lines.

We're gonna start with your Student's book on page 27. 

The Passive
In order to make the Passive, we need two very important things:

To be + past participle


On one hand, the auxiliary To Be can be in the:

· present simple (is/are)

· past simple (was/were)

· present perfect (has/have been) or 

· infinitive (be) 

On the other hand, the main verb takes its past participle form

Remember; we divide the verbs into regular and irregular.

Regular verbs take -ed at the end.

Irregular verbs have a special list. 


Here you have more theory about it just in case you need it (it's on page 33). Please, send me a message if you have doubts.



Now that we refreshed this, let's go back to the book. Please, follow my instructions.

*In exercise 11, look at the Active grammar box and complete the example senteces using the article on page 26 to help you. Then match the rules (A-C) with the sentences (1-3).

*In exercise 12, complete the second sentence so it means the same as the first one. 

*In exercise 13, add one missing word to each sentence. Then listen and check your answers.
